Hi, I'm Carola Sayago
I am a Graphic Artist & Visual Story Teller specializing in Digital collage art, cover art, retouching & compositing.
I work as a full-time graphic designer as well as a freelance graphic artist. I was born in Argentina and now reside in South Africa. I’m a vegetarian and an animal lover, just another dot in the universe.
About my work
“My work aims to convey meaning, evoke emotions, and raise questions and reflections about our own existence”.
My work explores the concepts of human existence, mortality, spirituality, dreams, the balance of space and time, and the universe as my muse of inspiration, with the goal of evoking a sense of nostalgia through the depiction of melancholy as an aesthetic emotion.
Some of the elements that define my style are retro, sci-fi, uncanny, and surreal imagery.
